School Performance

One of the big differences in charter schools compared to traditional Public Schools is that if a child is in a situation in which he/she is academically in danger, the teachers and staff will stop at nothing to make sure the child gets what he/she needs to succeed . With our charter schools your child will not, simply "fall through the cracks."

The Performance and Accountability division of OCCS is where all the data is collected so that thorough over site of each of our schools can take place.  It is our goal as an authorizer to have every one of our schools succeed in the implementation of their goals, mission and vision. When our schools succeed, Ohio’s children succeed; and that is what we are all about!

OCCS accomplishes this by helping each school obtain all the required documents (legal and other), plus meet the standards of any other Ohio Revised Code ("ORC") or Ohio Administrative Code ("OAC") which governs the operation of a public community school.

We begin this process at the beginning of each school year and work with them all year through to insure academic success and over all accountability.
